Dude, you are awesome. And ugh, work. I just - if I had money, I could totally do one of those internships where they give you housing and food because you pay them too much money or volunteer abroad or something for $4,000 or afford to live in NY/LA to intern. Blah. Money.

I agree with you completely about RPF! I used to be all judge-y judge about it and then I, um, thought a little bit. :P Invading someone's privacy is stalking them, publishing lies and pretending they're real, taking pictures of them in their private time ... not writing silly stories that you say right up front are fictional. The RPF writers I know are pretty much all, "yeah, this is a fictional pastiche of their public persona, not actually a person." So. I don't really get the outrage anymore.

Also YEAH! I was so disappointed when there was Lee Adama / Sam Seaborn hate in my LJ awhile back. I was like NOOOO SAM SEABORN IS MY ONE TWOO FICTIONAL LOVE. D: I should set you up with coffeesuperhero; she is a Lee goddess. Have you read her fic "and a star to steer her by"? It is ♥!

I LOVE SAM SEABORN. AND LEE ADAMA. AND YOU. SO IT ALL WORKS OUT. Nobody disses Sam Seaborn because mostly he is witty and charming, but Lee = Sam!SciFi!twin - wit and suddenly everyone is all on him for being ~hypocritical~ and ~a baby~. idgi, to be honest. But I am blindsided by my love of things.
