Arkham
Arkham had once been a sleepy mill town with a thriving merchant district, train station, and a variety of class-stratified neighborhoods. Since the arrival of the cults and the systematic disappearance of most of the residents of the city, all shops, government buildings and forms of transportation have been blocked off. The city can no longer be reached by the outside world and though people keep mysteriously appearing in Arkham, it seems to be a one way ticket with no hope of return.
Miskatonic University
Miskatonic University was once an Ivy League American school whose primary goal was to prepare the children of the upper crust to enter modern society with the tools they'd need to succeed. Like all schools of it's calibre, Miskatonic's grand halls were steeped in superstition and conspiracy theories. However, unlike those found at Harvard or Yale, the stories about Miskatonic have always been true. Funding research expeditions to the most remote areas on the planet in search of the secret and the mythical, the University harbors a vast library of famous occult books, secret store rooms filled with dangerous magical items, and labs equipped to study and reverse engineer long-lost alien technology.
Miskatonic's campus is surrounded by high masonry walls covered in ivy. There are arching gateways at the intersection of Crane Street and Boundary Street, West Street and College Street, and College Street and Garrison Street.
Sophisticated spells and miscellaneous technological defenses have been put in place to further protect the campus such as the
Barrier and construction fencing that show the demarcation line between safety and the unknown.
Many buildings on campus do not fall under the complete protection of the barrier or are rubble. These have been struck out.

✢ Staff Housing
These are four Victorian manor homes that had been converted into three bedroom condos for non-faculty staff and their families at the University. Those most of the staff is now gone, these units are used to house survivors found in Arkham. Each building has
one 3-bedroom suite on each of their three floors, providing a total of 36 rooms for use. Each suite has two bathrooms, a kitchen and a shared living area. Food and toiletries can be obtained from the School of Medicine. Like the School of Medicine, these buildings have been mostly destroyed and abandoned after the attacks in June 2012.
✢ Field House
Survivors will find an indoor pool, locker rooms, gym equipment and various other sports and recreation items here. There are squash courts, basketball courts and an indoor track.
✢ Science Hall
MapMost of the Science Hall is intact and many laboratories are still functioning, albeit at a limited capacity to how they once did. It now is used for medical offices and for storage.

✢ Orne Library
Much of the library is accessible, including what would normally be restricted areas containing dangerous and powerful books. It is arranged on two levels with an open floor plan, filled with tables and lined in books too numerous to count. The coffee bar by the entrance still functions though supplies are limited and no staff members work the counter. Through an arch carved with strange ruins in the back are all sorts of books that feel dangerous just to touch. Be care back here!
✢ Groundskeeper's (Dean Phillips' temporary residence)
Dean Phillips current lives here. His door is always open to those that knock.

The bell tower serves primarily as a look out platform. It is also where the Barrier is controlled.
