I went looking for episode discussions and fic today for the Sentinel, kind of sheepishly, kind of scared what I'd find.  But I found stuff I liked.

On the discussion front, I found this site: http://ts-essentials-mod.dreamwidth.org/ Interesting overviews of some of the more "important" episodes for the show that outline important character traits

But it always costs me something when I get really into a fandom and I'm told in one way or another, "Your feelings don't count. You don't belong. Shut up and go away." I can really relate to that. In a few of the other fandoms I've been in it's always like that and it's quite frankly not nice. **nods sagely**

I love mushy stories with affectionate moments and such. :3 I much prefer them to some of the other more volatile stuff I've read in some fandoms. :)

So I guess I need to learn to live with it or just stay away from fandoms altogether... :/

I'm so sorry, there's so less acceptance and respect for each other in most fandoms, sweetie!!!
I don't like it too, when some people think it's obviously the only truth what they think, when they watch a series and they're just not able to accept people who can't see what they see and have another opinion. Isn't it enough to enjoy it for every one in their own way...? We all love the same show. That actually should be enough.

Sorry for the late reply, my friend.
It depends on my mood, sweetie. Sometimes it seems I'm well-adjusted, but sometimes I'm getting sad or I'm getting angry about things. I just can't understand why people think they always have to persuade everyone who has another opinion. You know, I for myself can discuss with people and they tell me their opinion and I tell them my sight of things and either they convince me of their opinion / I convince them of mine - or I'm usually content to accept that they have their view of things and I have mine. We are free human beings and it's OK that all people have their own sight of things. I'm actually pretty open minded, I think.
