Fantastic idea, I really like the idea of Bodie, Doyle and other ci5 people having powers like the x-men. And I love that Ray and Bodie's powers balance each other out, just as the lads do.

Thanks so much!! :D I'm glad you liked it and thought everyone was still themselves. :)

To be honest I didn't even think of X-Men as I wrote it. I've seen this sort of thing in lots of superhero/special powers fiction, cartoons, comics, etc. (Branding myself as geekish? *g) I'm not familiar with Captain Planet, though, sorry!

Ooh, nice idea! And oh dear, shame on me but it brings out the shallow in me *g* I can't help but think adjoining quarters is all very well, but the only way they're going to be really comfortable is if they share a bed ... ::gives self a thorough talking-to::

You could make a whole 'verse out of this, you know!

Hope you don't mind one vanishingly tiny Brit-pick - if you want them on that side, that is - you could change "catch [your room etc.] on fire" to "set [something] on fire"

I'm very pleased you enjoyed it!! :) I really thought this idea would be what I'd write for the Big Bang. Then, when I sat down to write it, it took less than 2,000 words! :O And I haven't had ideas for more stories in this universe, either. :/

I could probably do a bit of gen sharing of bed but likely the gen folks would hate it and the slash folks too, so I think it's best to, er, let it lie. ;)

If you wish to write a continuation I won't stop you, though. It's always cool to inspire fic. :D
