I saw the geese lined up to (go into the water? fly South?) and had to pull over and get the picture. It was so pretty.

The geese're protected in IL, so you can't feed or move or touch them. They're amazingly abundant here.
Was running a temp of 99.8 this morning, and I tend to run a normal temp of 97.0 - 98.0. I've been sweating it out today, not coughing as much.

Do they migrate or stick around all winter? It seems like if they're migrating, they should get a move on.
Very pretty pic...I love seeing them fly in formation, too!

Most do migrate, but a minority stick around.
I figure those are the ones who's parents & g/parents decided to stick around for various reasons, and now it's inbred several generations later, that they DON'T fly South.
