Stanley was chosen from his division  by his HM2 to attend an event at the White House on the 4th.

They get to tour the West Wing (which is normally off limits to regular WH tours);
Meet the President & Mrs. Obama;
Have dinner with them;
Attend the concert & fireworks on the South Portico.

What a great day that will be!

It's not that John Lennon died that was funny, but what happened BECAUSE of it.

My step brother - who's 8 mos older than me and has a different last name - and I worked for 'Poppin' Fresh Pies' (which is now Baker's Square).  He was a cook, and I was a hostess.

On Dec 8, 1980, we closed.  Which meant working past 11pm.

Feeling MUCH better, though still a little short of breath.  Even though I went to work yesterday, they sent me home about 3.
