Gon/Killua Photoshoot - 30 May 2008

We've been organizing a Hunter x Hunter cosplay group for PortConMaine 2008 with Kun/hitokiri_quatre as Gon, myself (Armadei/alchemy_hisoka) as Killua, Kelsey/rue_sama13 as Kurapika, and Sarah/lady_noremon as Leorio (or possibly a second Killua). This past week, I was at Kun's house and we decided to have a Gon and Killua photoshoot as she had just finished her Gon jacket.

It actually is possible to spike up Gon's hair mangalike, you should have a try on it...
Kill's wig also needs some hairspray XD

Uhm, Gon's jacket is shorter. It doesn't go lower than his belt.

Kill is ok (if not the trousers... XDDDDD)

Any suggestions on what kind of hair styling product to use? I think the hair glue we tried would probably work if we had used more, but if there's a better method out there, that would be very useful.

And yes, Killua's wig does need work. It certainly didn't help that I had transported it in my backpack and didn't really fluff it out at all before the photoshoot; I'll definitely be fixing it up before PortCon.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's much we can do about Gon's jacket length at this point.

Out of curiousity, do you have any suggestions on how we could improve our cosplays?

I think the only thing I could suggest would be about the hair/wig, which was already mentioned by myojo_s_me.

Mind you, I've never cosplayed before, so I wouldn't know how to fix that... hardcore hair gel, perhaps? ^^;
