Gon/Killua Photoshoot - 30 May 2008
We've been organizing a Hunter x Hunter cosplay group for PortConMaine 2008 with Kun/hitokiri_quatre as Gon, myself (Armadei/alchemy_hisoka) as Killua, Kelsey/rue_sama13 as Kurapika, and Sarah/lady_noremon as Leorio (or possibly a second Killua). This past week, I was at Kun's house and we decided to have a Gon and Killua photoshoot as she had just finished her Gon jacket.
My photos are here; there are 107 in total and include the vast majority of the photos.
Kun's are here; there are 35 in total and include more ice cream, Killua, couch, and pocky photos.
There are also short video clips. Four to be precise.

By way of warnings, there is a bit of swearing, both in the videos and in Kun's photo descriptions. We are also both unapologetic Gon/Killua fans, although nothing more explicit than kissing and cuddling. I'd give everything a PGish/PG-13 rating at worst.
Since we hope to be using these cosplays for the Masquerade contest at PortCon, any suggestions on how we might improve our outfits would be greatly appreciated. In particular, we're still not sure what to do with Gon's hair - for the photoshoot, Kun dyed it black and we used hair glue to spike it like musical!Gon, although it didn't hold up very well - so if anyone has any ideas on how best to recreate Gon's hair, it would be incredibly helpful.
For Killua, I need to make his boot covers. I also want to re-spike parts of the wig and possibly find a closer-fitting shirt; it's been a concern of mine that Killua's shirts might be too baggy, so if anyone has feedback regarding whether Killua's shirts look too long/loose, it would also be appreciated.
Below is a preview of the photoshoot using some of my favourite photos from my collection. We had no photographer, so nearly all of the photos with both Gon and Killua in them were taken by way of positioning our cameras and setting the timers. To everyone who comments, or who takes the time to glance at the photos, thank you very much.
