I'm falling out of the doll hobby

I think it's just a break. I did that for a few months, just ignored them and didn't dress them unless I was taking one to a meetup, and now I'm hyped to take photos of them again and dressing them and getting NEW ones.

Hey Sarah, I think it's just a break too. And there is nothing wrong with taking a break. Things tend to settle after a few years anyway, and it's been about 2 years now since we first met, right?

You know how many I have. I don't 'play' with them daily either, but my enjoyment is at the meets. You know what kind of work goes into that. And have you checked out the photography contest on DOA? I'm pretty sure you can guess which ones are mine (and Marie's). You don't have to handle them every waking minute to enjoy them. Mine are still packed away since the last meet. I'm not active online either, and sewing does take it's toll after a while, especially when you specialize in one specific style.

So don't stress about it, they'll sneak back into your heart full blast, and you'll go another few years obsessing all over again.
