Well, my trial period at C's yoga studio expired this Tuesday, and I faced the dilemma of paying a $115 monthly membership, or start doing Yoga in my cramped apartment by myself. Yogatastic
I feel Yogatastic. Just came back from a level 1 class with one of my favorite instructors, Sarah Bell. Her voice is so calming, and it feels so good to surrender all thoughts and just follow instructions for an hour, that I left relaxed and in mental peace, feeling so awake and happy. I think I scared the crap out of a lady
So, just came back from Yoga. Went to a level 1 class with a different instructor, a man in his late 40's and a full head of gray hair. Skinny and tiny, in other words, total yoga body. There was only one other girl whose also was the first time with this instructor, but she had done yoga before, so I was the junior in the classroom ( Read more... ) -

There's no excuse
I've been trying to get everything set up for going back to teaching this semester and everything seems to be messed up, to the point I'm beginning to regret ever agreeing to do this. I need the money, but this is too much hassle. I have sent at least 4 different emails to 4 different people requesting AV equipment, because every time I call the IT ( Read more... ) -

Life on the patch
well, its been 17 days now since I quit. i admit to remitting last Friday night, but I learned my lesson as I spent the whole weekend sick. My friends have been very supportive, and Im able now to see people smoke without wanting to suck the smoke out of their lungs or to attack them to get a drag ( Read more... ) -

DATING SUCKS!
went out on a date with Mr. Cornell Grad Student. He was not bad looking, but nothing major. we meet at the movie theater to see Juno and conversation was stilted and oddly one sided, no chemistry there.
Oh well, perhaps Ill just go back to anonymous sex with strangers. -

One week without smoking. I feel very good about my resolution. Been wearing the patch since last Tuesday, and have gotten used to it. It does help.
