The editor of "Cooks Source" magazine took part of an article that was posted online, and used it without compensation.  When the writer of the article called them on it, the editor's response was, in part:

One of the bajillion comments on Cooks Source FB wall is: Steven Kowalczyk The internet just opened up a can of whoop ass on you. $130 donation doesn't seem so bad now does it?

As far as I can tell, Cooks Source is a free magazine given away at restaurants, etc.

I think we may have just found something that is going to make people forget about that photo of bacon taped to John Scalzi's cat.

Yeah- knew this was going to blow up on them the instant I saw Neil Gaiman and Warren Ellis (Among others) tweet about it, and mention (in their own particular way,) that "Cook source Editor- you suck"
Wonder how this is going to wash out...?
