i'm not going to say your family is the source of all of your problems, but they sure don't seem to help you solve your problems, ever.

When I met you 11 years ago your sister and mother were doing the exact same shit to you. break the cycle!

Wow! Sorry to hear you had to go through all of that. I'm glad Ollie is ok. Are you going to pick him up?

That last paragraph is key. In fact, before I read that one, that is exactly what I was going to tell you in this response. It doesn't seem like you can rely on your family. You are pretty much on your own, except for the support you have from your friends, and that's perfectly fine because you are a strong person. Your family has problems, and you seem to be the only sane person around. I think you need to remove yourself from that atmosphere, and concentrate on yourself. Again, as I finished reading, I see you already knew that. :o) You're going to be just fine.

Sorry, I know she's your sister, but that's animal cruelty, and damn right that officer needed to assess whether or not to arrest her. She clearly doesn't listen to you, she clearly has few boundaries regarding the health and safety of others, and she should be spending the night in jail and facing a judge in the morning for what she did to that cat. Maybe it would scare her into -- well, if not sanity, at least faking it well enough for those around her to survive. Allowing her to face the consequences of her actions would be a *favor.*
