I have to write 60 pages in three different papers, study for and take a final exam and an oral exam. All before I fly out early Tuesday morning

Reading this post has made me really miss you right now. Hopefully I will see you soon. But for now, I have to pretend to hard core study and hopefully out of the pretense, some knowledge will arise.

You sum it up so well Yuliya :0) As it turns out, the smartest of the smarts are not geeks nor socially awkward beings. They're fun, friendly, productive and ambitious. And when you surround yourself with them, either you run with them or find yourself reflecting the importance of your own existence :0) haha...I am the latter. But in honesty, I think you are the smartest of the smarts except with a different attitude and that's what we love about you. :0) Who wants friends who have optimistic outlook on life and can do anything they set out to do? :0) Goodluck with finals! I don't have quite that ebullient of a view of these kids. I don't think I'd trade lives with them and, if I did, I think I'd find that they hate themselves just as much as anyone else if not more.
