I agree, but I think House was too frustrated and occupied to be sarcastic. He just said what he thought :)

I thought this was so gorgeous. Such a quiet, intimate scene between the two of them. Just honest truth, no sarcasm or anything.

I never thought about this scene being random, lol, but now that you guys mention it, it really was. Not that I really care, anyway :P.

I love this scene, I loved the tone of their voices and the dialogue ♥.
