As I start to look around for options for my event handsewing kit...the lovely Katrin from 'Togs-From-Bogs' happens to be setting up a stock of nifty items for her shop. Grand idea...if you happen to live in Europe where her stall will be available. *le sigh* Katrin has been great and has been quoting me pricing for bits and pieces as they come up

Good news! We've been wanting to carry sewing kits for some time. We have everything but the scissors. Damned hard to find the right kind. I can get the Chinese big-handled ones, which aren't in medieval/Renaissance art at all or the mini-shears, which you see rarely but at least you see them. But I haven't found scissors like in that "Tailor" picture yet. :/

Oh no. Nothing is there yet but the stuff you linked to (thank you for that!). I'm just saying that we've been working on gathering all the stuff you're talking about, so maybe soon there will be a source where you can buy these things without flying to Europe. =)

I want the box. And I'm pretty sure I can't talk Dad into building steam box and making me one. *sigh* Though apparently I have a few solid Elm chests coming from that quarter. None small enough to be a sewing box, though.

OMG...could you show me how to net sometime?!? I would KILL to get the German boys in something more accurate than the gold lame net cauls they tend towards!
