All cords and tassels are done... now I just need to form the aglets over the ends of the point ties and take photos!

Hopefully this weekend...

Yes! Although final bits on the cloak were *not* done due to copious yard work having to be finalized instead.

Still, yard work done = yeah!

There is! But sadly not after this past weekend, since we ended up cleaning out the backyard and trimming our fruit trees with our spare time rather than making aglets. :P

At least you could leave the house. Our temps were in the single digits (when they weren't in the negative numbers). I spent the weekend huddled under covers drinking hot cocoa!

This has been the problem with venturing into my sewing space all winter! In fact, it was *warmer outside* than it was in my house/cave for much of the weekend.

:P

You have done a wonderful job on the cloak. This is just what my husband wants me to make him. I was wondering how you tie the hood to the cape. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

The hood is tied to the body of the cloak by a series of 'points' (fingerlooped ties that are actually sewn to the cloak body); the hood has a corresponding ring (small brass, 1/3" diameter) for each set of ties.
