Invasion Stories:

1) First of all, the weekend of Invasion was the weekend of driving hell. We started our traveling on Friday, heading from mid-CA up to Sacramento for a wedding rehearsal and dinner. Oh my goodness that is an impressive group of people! I so wish there were people who did German stuff here in Texas. That looks like so much fun!

I have friends who are moving to Texas sometime in the next couple of months who want to do German. I have no idea where they caught that from. *looks innocent* I'll have to check and see if I know where they're moving to....

ETA - They're moving to the Houston area. Not sure where you are (and Texas is a BIG state!).

Found a Fahnlein here in MN. They're up north, and well, just don't know how to pretty it up. It's like 3 or so guys, running 1490s. It's a shame. Just doesn't quite have the same feel. I was sad to miss you out there too honey. (*sigh* Star Crossed Love *sigh*)

The weekend was simply magical (in that weird way that only faire and love can be magical - all shimmery around the edges and shot if soft focus - or maybe that was the gin...); there is some chance for repeats as many of us figure that once every 30 years is *way* too far apart. I will keep you appraised!
