Dodging the rain...

Storm Ellen was broad enough that we caught the edge of it. About 20mm of rain fell during the morning and early afternoon last Wednesday. Thursday was a better day, but on Friday there were several short but heavy showers that dumped, in all, about another 20mm on us. Even so, we've done a bit of work in the garden, though some projects I'd like

It started raining here just after midnight, and it seems to have rained most of the night. It's not actually raining at the moment, but it's definitely the kind of day for at least considering staying in bed...

Bright but windy today, whihch is a pain as I'll be hitting the road later...

Even with the hill behind the house sheltering us from the full force of the storm, yesterday was pretty unpleasant. It's a lot more pleasant outside today. :)
