Storm Ellen was broad enough that we caught the edge of it. About 20mm of rain fell during the morning and early afternoon last Wednesday. Thursday was a better day, but on Friday there were several short but heavy showers that dumped, in all, about another 20mm on us. Even so, we've done a bit of work in the garden, though some projects I'd like to sort out do need some sustained dry weather, and we're not getting that at the moment.
I caught the morse practice on Thursday morning as usual, and did about as well as usual. My mast is still down, as I've not been tempted to put it up while there have been so many thunderstorms around, so I've not done much other radio, apart from catching a radio club Zoom meeting one evening.
Thursday was a good gardening weather day, so we missed the fortnightly Euro-Filk event on Zoom again, but we did have a small but reasonably successful NMC rehearsal on Zoom on Sunday, and still got some useful stuff done in the garden. I even got the big ladder out in order to trim the wisteria on the south-east wall by the patio, as it had been attempting to invade the roof.
Tomorrow, however, looks like being another rather wet day...
