… the FUCK is up with that costume!?!?!?! Seriously? I actually don’t understand how that would translate better to a large stage audience than her usual outfit (excepting the tutu, which would add dynanism) - and neither Ivy nor Catwoman have undergone such a radical redesign. Seriously - the FUCK?

make it red and black instead of purple, give her some blonde pigtails and it's not half bad :P I still want to see the show when it makes its way to Canada, even if and perhaps because it is a cheesy pantomime! I don't see why they couldn't have stuck with a classic Harley costume though.

And agreed - I would definitely wear that costume if it meant I could play Harley!

I agree. Harley's stage costume in this production is just embarrassing. What's wrong with her usual uniform?

I am hoping it's not what I'm thinking, in that those who are putting on the show see Harley as a more extraneous character. In this clip, Catwoman, Ivy, The Penguin and The Riddler are treated with much more enthusiasm than Harley, who seems to be just a walk-on at this point - was she shown for more than a few seconds?!(my comp. was freezing up as this was playing, so I might be wrong about this) And yes, it really is a case of WTF with the costume?! No one else had such a radical alteration. Very odd!

The tutu isn't so bad if it's to get rid of androgyny for the cheap seats (though Catwoman still has her cowl and a less sexified bodysuit than normal so...yeah) but those pigtails are killing me. They look like Pippi Longstocking had a Juggalo phase. Really, they could have just been blonde and not so stiff looking.
And there's no reason for why she couldn't have her standard mask.

That being said, I do love the Ivy. Not her interactions with the Joker (so wrong) but the look and the woman playing her.
