From March 1st - March 31st, the Ron Weasley Appreciation Fest will take place both here and at the hphetgen community.
This Fest's intention is to rise up and spread the love for the brilliant, but often unappreciated Ronald Bilius Weasley. It will be a place where fans of Ron Weasley (and of Ron/Hermione) can gush about all the things related to this great character and pairing for a whole month.
What Type of things Can I do for the Fest?
*Drabble/Drawble Prompts-
State your preferred pairing/characters and a one word prompt. An example might be Prompt: Ron/Hermione - Anger with a slash to denote a romantic pairing or if you fancy something gen, use a comma instead such as Prompt: Ron, Harry - Dragons. Anyone can jump in with a fill and please state the rating and warn for any triggers in the response header. Prompts can be filled any number of times and in terms of both the prompts and the fills.
The only rule is that Ron Weasley must feature as a main character and the only Ron-ship is Ron/Hermione.
Icon/Graphic Prompts: State which Weasley you would like and give some sort of mood, ship, theme or colour. An example might be Icon: Hermione/Ron or Icon: Weasleys at war. Anyone should jump in and fill and the icons should be available to all, provided credit is properly given to the creator.
Meta/Discussion Threads: State your subject matter in the title of the thread. It doesn't have to be something lofty or highly academic, it can be as fun, silly or serious as you like, canon or fanon meta.
examples:
What made you fall in love with the character of Ron Weasley? What has made you stick alongside Ron through thick and thin, even when both books and movies are done?
* What attracted you to Ron/Hermione? Why do you love their love story? And most importantly, why do you think they're genuinely well-suited for each other and CAN make it work, through thick and thin, into the very ripe old age that wizards have?
* What about Ron as a friend? (To Harry, Hermione and others?) As a sibling?
* What do you find most admirable about Ron?
Squee Thread: Again, state your subject matter in the title of the thread. In these threads really anything goes. For example, Squee: Ron's best lines or Art Rec: (Artist Name, Title of piece) and so on.
