Oh, that's hot. I love the focus on their lips and his fingers. If you do have a link to the original whole image, I'd love to see that too, just out of curiousity. I love the pencil work. Thanks! :) Great addition to the ficafest.

Thanks! :D I'm glad you like. I thought the focus on their lips and fingers was much more pronounced when I cropped it a bit.

Buuuut, I've got the original one here, if you'd still like to look. Looking at it now makes me kind of grumpy though, since I'm very not pleased with it. But enjoy! :)

The original is nice, but I'm glad you cropped it because their face, especially their eyes and cheeks, take away from the focus of their lips. On the other hand, I really like the shadowing of the cheeks and their hair. :) Thanks again for your entry! Feel free to claim another one if you so feel challenged. ;P

Yeah, that's exactly my feeling. There's of things that I like about the original, but the eyes etc. kept distracting from the focus of the picture.

haha, I'll see if some more inspiration comes for another piece (don't tempt me). :)

I typically run across much more H/G fic than H/G art, so it's good to see pieces like this in the fest. I like the way the odd close framing fits the words of the poem, the way you have freckles all over her face and running down her neck, the way her hair is so red, and the hint of a Gryffindor tie. Well done.

Yeah, I don't see much H/G art around either. I'm happy that you like it! I'm wondering... when you say you "like the way the odd close framing fits the words of the poem" do you mean that visually or thematically? Just curious. :D

Thanks again!

Uh, I only meant that the way you've cropped it to eliminate all other facial features but the lips matches the emphasis on voices and lips in the words of the poem. Not so much about how the letters are placed within the frame, if that's what you mean.

Ha, yup, that's exactly what I was asking. :) Thank you!

*Speechless*

If you'd be up to it, I wouldn't mind seeing the original version as well.
