Harry wondered whether it was normal that he tended to spend more time in other people's offices than he did his own. He supposed it had something do with his perfectly rational (thanks very much) fear of real work that didn't involve actually being out there and physically making a difference. "Wotcher Harry!" Tonks called back, waving as she made her way toward him. "How are you?"

She took a seat in the arm chair near him and offered him a smile.

She pulled a bottle of water from the big bag she was carrying and opened it, taking a long drink.

"Of course not," he said, feigning shock. "If there was real work to do, I'd do it. It's all this made-up nonsense I'm trying to keep away from. What about you, busy?"

"I'm taking her to dinner this week, so maybe she'll get to relax a bit," she replied with a grin. "I wonder why all of the departments seem so busy with paperwork lately. Do you think it's Percy's doing?"

Tonks shrugged and took another drink of her water.

"I think the dark wizards have learned to keep their dark stuff hidden better now that Percy's in office," she replied. "I wouldn't be surprised if he extended them an owl before hand to let them know about the raids. But I suppose, Percy is smarter than that. Or at least we all hope he is."

"Fingers crossed," he agreed. "I've led a few raids of my own, and I'm fairly sure we're still eliminating any possible threats as they come."

"It just seems a bit off to me," she said frowning. "That nothing's come up and we're all being kept busy with paperwork instead of fieldwork. But I suppose there comes a time when things have to get boring."
