Out on the Town: Pansy and Kevin run in to each other

Kevin usually didn't go out unless he was in the company of Mike and his group of friends or if he had some sort of date. He'd dropped into this bar on the off chance that no one would notice him and that he would be able to just relax for the first time since New Year's Eve.

He headed for the bar, weaving around people standing near the dance floor. As soon as he'd made it to the bar, he ordered a beer and had a seat on an empty bar stool at the very end of the bar.

Despite her bad date, Pansy found she was in a fairly good mood. Someone took the seat next to her, and she turned to offer them a smile. "Entwistle, right?" she asked, recognizing the man. She knew him from Hogwarts, of course, and more recently she saw him around the Ministry, though they hadn't actually talked.

"Ah, Parkinson," he said, grinning as he recognized the woman beside him. "Fancy seeing you here."

Pansy grinned. "It's a nice change from work. Enjoying yourself?" She took a sip of her drink, cocking her head in his direction.

"That rag?" Kevin snorted. "I don't read it and if I do, I usually don't read anything further back than the front."

"That would be why you've missed the speculation about my mad dominatrix tendencies," Pansy grinned.

"You have those? Bloody hell, who knew," he said, giving her a wink.

"Watch it," Pansy teased, "or I might have to punish you."
