Who: Dora and Remus Lupin, and everyone who shows up at their house. Friends, family...
What: Renewal of the Lupins marriage vows.
When: hpsixwords timeline, Dec. 15
Where: Cornwall, the rebuilt house where the cottage used to be.

Teddy was in charge of greeting the guests. Why? Because not only had he requested it, but because his 'gift' to his Mum required him to do so.

He firmly believed that happiness equaled bright and happy colours. They had to, because whenever he was happy his hair would turn a bright turquoise (much like today) and his Mum's a bright pink. Since today was a day of happiness and celebration, it was only right that his parents should be surrounded by happy colours.

Which was where he came in.

As each guest arrived he would charm their hair. Just a lock or two, but enough so that his parents would smile more at the sight.

And, in case he missed someone, he would have Maisie tell him so the two of them could chase after whoever managed to get away. But you try getting away from the children of a Marauder and a Metamorphmagus...

Mia arrived a little early because this was her new sister's vow renewal and she wanted to be able to help. She'd chosen a simple black dress because she wanted to dress up, but keep the focus on the bride and groom. Andi had taken her shopping and said she liked it so that was good enough for Mia.

She entered the house and immediately spotted Teddy. Giving him a little wave she approached him quickly. "Hi."

"Hi," he responded with a wave of her own, his smile brightening as he saw his aunt-cousin walking up to him.

"Alright, since you're early I'll let you choose. What's your favourite colour?"

Cassie arrived with Draco and Scorpius. They had a special gift for the couple that she would present to them after the ceremony. Smoothing down her dress she looked over at her husband in his dress robes and her son who looked like a miniature version of his father.

"Your dress is fine, Mother. Really." Scorpius assured her as they approached the door. He immediately scanned the room for signs of Maisie, Al, Rose, and Lily Dora. When he spotted Teddy he smiled, "Hello, Teddy."

Cassie leaned forward and brushed a quick kiss on Teddy's cheek. "Yes, hello, Teddy. You look quite handsome."

She didn't have to say the 'I do' to know her answer. Whether she knew it or not, the happiness that he could so easily see in her eyes, and all the love she held for him, were shining brighter than ever today and took his breath away ( ... )

ooc: This is where everyone can mix up after the reaffirmation has finished. Everyone can of course have reactions on the thread above regarding the actual vows, and then move down here.

It was done, the formal part; so now for the together part of the fun.
Tonks tore her eyes from her husband with some effort and, turning with her back to the fireplace, beamed at all who had come.

"And now! Let's have a party!"

She waved her hand towards the tables with heaps of food (she'd actually asked nicely some of the Hogwarts elves, so that things would be JUST right, like at a school feast. She had given all who had helped little presents of their own choice too, because she appreciated it ( ... )
