Oh no! My bottle of Shrinking Solution has spilled all over the Harry Potter patterns!
And here I was, about to announce a new challenge. What's a girl to do? Hmm, guess we'll have the challenge anyway!
Your challenge:
Shrink any
hp_paperpiecing pattern to 3" or smaller and make it into something awesome and tiny! Coin purse? Earrings? Be creative and rock our elf made socks!
Clarification: Only patterns posted to
hp_paperpiecing before August 25, 2010 are eligible for the challenge. All patterns are currently archived under
Harry Potter Paper Piecing and on the
Guest Designer pages at sewhooked.
Once you have completed your challenge, post photos to
the flickr group or
email them directly to me. You have from today (August 25) until Tuesday September 28 to get your photos in. Please send one or two photos only to represent your item for voting.
On September 29, photos will be posted and only members of
hp_paperpiecing will be eligible to vote. New memberships will be closed for voting week, just to keep things fair.
And what do you get if your tiny quilty craft wins?
A LITTLE Haunted hardcopy pattern from the
Sewhooked Shop! (ETA: if you have already purchased this pattern, I'm happy to substitute another pattern of equal value)
a small fat quarter of Halloween fabric!
some tiny buttons!
a small magnet!
and a Shrunken Jack-O-Lantern!
Read, set, go!
