Is duct tape paper piecing acceptable? I used the same technique: tape on the wrong side, in number order, fold on lines, position with proper overlap with the seam line as the alignment edge. The only different was no sewing or trimming. What do you think? Totally understand if the answer is no. :)

As long as you turn it into something awesome and tiny, then the answer is yes!

Use anything you like, as long as you piece the block. Good luck!

That's what I like to hear! The best part of challenges is getting to see what everyone comes up with!

Jennifer,
Do you have any advice or tips for piecing blocks this small? I can barely see a block 3" or smaller let alone trying to piece it. LOL

For one, try to choose a block that doesn't already have teeny tiny pieces. Then just piece it like you would any other block. Sometimes you'll only need a few stitches to hold a piece of fabric in place, but it will work! It also helps to trim your seams to 1/8" or so. You can do it!

The smaller the piece, the smaller the stitch I use. I'd rather have 4 tiny stitches than 2 regular ones....makes me feel like I've actually sewn it. I think this will be really fun.
