Beautifully written, Starry. I can just feel and smell and taste all the sensory detail. And I've always wondered what goes on inside a dementor's head and just how sentient they are. What a sad life, if they are as you have described. *shudder* Well done.

I was so so so eager to read this because I knew if anyone could pull it off, it'd be you. And god, pull it off you certainly did. This is BRILLIANT. I love the voice of this, the dark slightly malicious wistfulness underlying the whole thing, the view of Dementors as so unbelievably human despite the fact that their very nature is so un-human, the imagery and the word painting...guh. The whole thing is just...it made me shiver. You're such a brilliant author, Robin. You really are.

Crikey! You're a poet, Luv. Or perhaps a prophet. This reads like both lyric and scatalogical warning. It's gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.

Oh, gods above and below. This is the type of thing I ADORE to read. Thank you, so much, for crafting this one. It's lyrical and beautiful and implacable, and you get such a sense of the foreignness of the Dementor mind. Beautiful.
