Hee! It did. I'm all about agressively setting goals and I'm sure not shy about what I want :) If I ever get published, it'll be thanks to your community and Jazzy's relentless "go find forty-five ways to say 'cold' and 'blood'" word exercises and the like :)

I haven't regretted improving one bit! *squishes more*

But I can't not say goodbye. Thank you very much for your vision in raising this community. The effects of your decision to actively seek out and laud 'good writing' have been far reaching and long lasting, I think. The notion of people having to get invitations to writing comms (where only pornish was the only LJ comm that did that) actively made them seek out ways to write better, and gave a few the kick up the ass to actively seek out beta readers to iron out the 'kinks' from their writing ( ... )
