Delicate and lush and with that threadbare quality that is so Remus.

The description is beautiful - I espescially love the second last paragraph. It is just so heartbreaking.

This is beautiful. I love the details: the dove, the necklace, the fez, the things Remus finds in the rubble. They bring Damascus and the Potters' ruined house to life, make them both heartbreakingly real.

jazzypom recced this. It is simply stunning. It's spare but elegant, and the description just comes alive--I can see the necklace around Lily's neck, James wearing the fez, and Harry cradling the dove. So very beautiful.
