Curse you for making me read fic again! *shakes fist* But seriously, you just get better and better. This is so beautiful and heartbraking without being angsty, which i think can be hard to do. And in so few words too. It's lovely.

If you're only reading MY fic, it can't really be a problem, can it ;) I don't write that much anymore :D

That said, thankyou. It's a difficult balance to strike and I'm glad that this worked.

Wonderful, so wonderful to read you again. So happy you are still playing with this image of Remus windblown and drifting.

Utterly broke me with the image of him buying the presents - I defy anyone to read that unmoved. The image of the rubble in his pockets also was terribly sad.

Very clever sentence structure - don't think I didn't notice - "Bought for dollars from an American who looked like he had another four"

I loved it - Remus suits this situation so well. *rec rec*

Hee :) s'nice to still be around ;)Remus, dear Remus. S'nice to write him again - can't write Ted Tonks all the time, can I, lovely as he is. The image of him buying the presents was a really strong one, and one that I wanted to keep.

This is going to sound UNBELIEVABLY stupid but...uh...why was the structure of that sentance clever? :b

Thankyou :) I should write more world weary Remus.

Heartbreaking. And I have a big fat soft spot for a Remus that wandered to distant countries after James and Lily's deaths. For some reason, it was the bricks that got me the hardest, that and the mirrors ... I could see them lain out, glittering, on the table. Very beautiful story and a wonderful read.
