I started this on September 10 while I was waiting for the yarn for my Gryffindor scarf to arrive and I just finished it a few minutes ago!

Thank you! At first I was afraid that I was making the stripes to close together but looking at it now that's it done, I think it looks good.

I would have finished it in less time but there were a few days when I couldn't get the motivation to just sit down and knit.

I have a hard time working with Caron Simply Soft. It slides off my needles too easily.

I do like the cheap factor of it though. Suits my income :)

The only times when I had a hard time working with it was when I first picked it up each time I sat down to knit. It was like I had to wait for the needles and yarn to warm up before things ran smoothly.

What material needles did you use? I tried knitting with that type of yarn on metal and it just wouldn't work, but with plastic or bamboo it has been just fine for me.
