All right, so I began knitting a couple weeks ago, and I joined this community pretty much right away. There are so many projects out there that I'd love to try, but either A. I think it looks good for your first attempt. (and my CO stitches always look messy too. I'm hoping that it's just something that will change as I progress.)

You could also do a k1p1 ribbing instead at the top and bottom, it's more elastic. I think you did great, though, especially for a newbie. I've been knitting 4 years and haven't tried a pattern involving a picture yet...
