Andromeda's story is still the one in book 7 that guts me the most, and I love the point of view you've taken on here to tell it. I love that she's telling it to Teddy, that she's so strong and kind even in the face of so much tragedy. Great job!

That was beautiful and heart breaking... and a wonderful characterization of Andromeda. There's so much grief captured here but still so much more determination to live and move beyond the pain.

Loved this: They can scratch me off the family tree, but they can't scrape away my bones. I am a Black, and we don't discuss emotions, although sometimes (Nymphadora, Bella, Sirius) we express them with abandon.

Oh Andromeda, despite her lack of page time she is one of my favourite characters and her losses in DH absolutely gutted me. You gave her such a strong voice and the speaking voice really worked for this meditative fic.
