This made me smile and giggle and feel for the characters. You really pushed into their minds without getting angsty. I absolutely adored this fic :)

This is very unique and well written. I love how you go into depth of the characters and hope of their futures as they grow.

Well done!

"Unique" is one of the best comments to get (especially in a fandom where so very much has been written already!). Thanks, and glad you enjoyed it :)

This is perfect - a brilliantly original and insightful idea, beautifully written.

I loved Draco's first impression of the book and his identification with Darcy:
"Pride and Prejudice. Well, so far I'm in favor of it."

And Neville's idea that middle-aged Mandrakes could be made to fall asleep with the application of some alcohol and boring telly radio made me smile.

The way each of them went about teaching their lesson was very apt - dancing is a perfect illustration of how freedom can be found in structure - and even more so was the way they reacted to it: Neville rising to a challenge, Luna being more interested in the process than the result, and Draco refusing to admit to Luna that he'd learned anything at all.

Dumbledore's observation that Draco also learned something from his lesson to Neville was clever, though I can't really believe that he had planned that part of it. Though I'm sure he'd like to think he did; I wonder what would have been on his piece of paper? :)

What a delight !! You selected three wonderful challenges (I did not like it that much that you ascribed the ideas to Albus though ;-) ). To have Draco learn from P&P is especially brilliant. And it is such a joy to see Neville gain confidence at potions and teach Luna to dance. Thank you so much for this gem!!

Glad you enjoyed it! As to having it all be Dumbledore's work -- he's always behind everything and manipulating everybody, so it somehow seemed appropriate that he should be there. But yes, you're right, it would have worked just as well without him, as a regular McGonagall lesson. She is such a good teacher :) Thanks for the feedback :)

So glad you liked Prof. M's opening speech -- it was one of my favorite parts to write. I do love her as a teacher. Thanks :)
