Can I tell you how much I love you right now?!

This is--everything I wanted, if not more. Severus/McGonagall gen is one of my favorites, and it is so hard finding fic about those two. But I love how you've portrayed them here, and that she was the one who remembered the Timeturner and ultimately saved his life was just touching beyond words.

I also love your inclusion of Draco and Hermione--my mind is already brewing romance between them, but then again they are my OTP so I just can't help it. =D

The way you weave past together with present is especially beautiful, too.

There are so many beautiful lines in this, and this one at the end, when severus opens his eyes again, he seems them all-Hermione and Draco squabbling over the potion, Lily looking at him through Harrys' eyes, Harry looking at him, and Minerva's grey eyes and the worried, pinched set of her mouth. Minerva who saved him-Minerva who mothered him and rescued him and- especially broke my heart ( ... )

I enjoyed reading this so much, it was wonderful. I don't know much else to say, unfortunately; this is one of those fics that leaves one in a daze. "Aspling" is a perfect nickname, by the way.

Good God this made me cry! The flashbacks with Lily and Snape's reaction to Harry's eyes and seeing Lily through them...so good. And I loved McGonagall's motherly ways and Hermione and Draco's banter. I'm not a fan of AU Snape-is-actually-alive fic but this was so well written (and the time-turner twist was fab!) and beautiful. Even the little moment of Lily and Snape having casual conversation about the boats. I just can't express how pleased I was with this!

Lovely. This bit in particular was so beautifully written:

Captivating imagery and well paced narrative. I do think Minerva, like Albus, would have had this parental sort of attitude towards her former student turned colleague.
