Here's what I remember:

1. James and Lily's child is a girl named Amaranth or Amaryllis--I think Lilly called her Mara, or Mary for short.  
2. At some point after they have been informed of the threat against them, (not sure if they are under the Fidelius yet), Merlin appears on their doorstep, and convinces them to name him as their kid's guardian
