Welcome, welcome! :D I can't come to the 8/15 meetup either, but as I've said, if there's a meetup later on you want to come to, perhaps we can work something out with a ride. And I don't think a Baltimore meetup is a bad idea either. The Inner Harbor and aquarium might make nice venues for us all to hang out.
