Sounds like quite a score! I didn't let myself go to Joann's yesterday because I needed to quilt that get well quilt. So I didn't shower, that way I could leave the house, lol.
I was just telling Jewells that I didn't realize LJ had a whole separate journal area. Which, duh, makes sense... it IS called Live JOURNAL, after all. But having just joined in November and only posting a few videos since then, I guess I just haven't explored. Anyway, I'm in the know now. :)
To me, your expedition to Joann's was high logical and imperative. :D But this comes from a person who can't say no to a good deal and fabric - put the two together and yeah, there's no holding me back. Snow schmo. See, I have all of ONE place to shop for fabric on this teen tiny island. And even then it's not a fabric store, just a small corner of a semi-large store where they host about 40 bolts of fabric. Joann's is a mecca to me. All this to say no judgements about your trip from me! :D
Yeah, it takes some getting used to at first, this journaling. I think I've been on here 10 years and I cringe at some of my first posts now...especially from when I used to post fanfic. *shudders*
My mom was telling my (favorite) aunt about my adventure yesterday and my aunt expressed concern for me driving because she saw how bad it was (she lives about 15 miles away)...and my mom said yeah, it wasn't a big deal to me...mostly because I'm a good driver, I can handle snow, and I wasn't out that long. I think it helped that it was a short distance on a main road through town.
But OMG BEST DEAL ever. Course, now I've promised myself I won't go back for more fabric for a MONTH. *fidgets*
I told my coworkers today about it, and they all looked at me like I was two nuggets short of a happy meal. But then, they always think I'm a little crazy. Proves that they aren't as dedicated to craft as I am. *nods properly*

The haul was quite good. I'm still quite pleased with myself.
But yeah, a little silly to venture out when it wasn't good weather...
