Heh. I hated Crime and Punishment. On the other hand, it might fit in to a discussion of punishment in the Wizarding World, since the mental tortures the main characters inflicts on himself could probably be duplicated by magic.

*laughs* I'm an English teacher and it always bugged me that their "normal" education seems to have ceased. I mean, what, do their math skills not go beyond short division? Is the last literature they read Where the Wild Things Are? What about science? History of the WORLD, not just magic? Music? Art? Heck, even PE -- magic or not, the kids can eat as much as they want and not exercise -- that can't be good!
