The Blacks knew a good plan when they saw one. The architect was not so astute. 
But he was young and the money the job would bring, could see him into old age. 
And so it began. 
The Blacks were leaving their castle and moving into London.

Why thanks :) And I hope you don't die like that, although in Terry's books the best architect, died that way, so he couldn't do anything better, and so he couldn't spill the secrets of his creation.

Oooh. I need to exercise more vigilance, I think. Another ending that I didn't expect. You've made good use of the few words you're allowed. The final sentence makes the drabble awesome, though. Well done.
