“It’s so awful that you have to pull out of your vocabulary a word you never use?”
Liked that line, and I've yet to meet someone who uses 'kitsch' regularly. I assume they would be interesting however.

Heh. You're probably right.

I myself didn't even know that word existed until I looked in a rhyming dictionary for words that rhyme with "witch" xP.

Woo-hoo!

High five for being one of the only other authors I've seen use Daphne as a main character. We are few and far between.

Ok, skip the high five, but know that I appreciate your work.

*e-fives you anyway*

Thanks! I don't know why no one uses her. Pansy Parkinson isn't the only girl in Slytherin, as people seem to forget.

Actually... I use "kitsch" regularly, but, then again, I'm from Michigan, land of "pop" and "A"s that are impossible to properly transliterate. :P

Anyway! The drabble... I nearly fell out of my chair from laughing. I love the way you characterized Daphne and Blaise (Blaise is one of my fandom pets, and I love how snarky you made him). Nice work overall! :D

Alas, I am from California and have never heard it in regular conversation.

*bows* And thank you!
