*falls over ded from the perfection* I find it so cute that Andromeda does, basically, asks Ted to marry her "for protection". And I absolutely love that Ted didn't know for sure, before that, how much she cared for him.

Ooh, thanks! I had a different ending originally, and it just kind of came out this way for word count, but then the meaning changed just enough so it's like you said -- that he didn't know for sure. In my mind, they were pretty much a couple by this point, but it's possible that he didn't know she was really serious about him. I wanted to get a line in there about marrying for love, not for protection, but it wouldn't fit, and it turned out a lot better anyway by not spelling it all out like that. (I constantly have to remind myself when writing fiction: less is more.)

Thanks! I have a whole little backstory for them that I'm sure is completely wrong, so I kind of hope JKR never spends any more time on them than she already has. :-)

One of these days I'll compile all the hp100 drabbles I've written about them into one post, instead of writing an actual fic, I think.
