Shouldn't really horrify me this slightly, (I read slash happily enough) but Bloody Baron/Salazar Slytherin... I think I may have a brand new squick. Ah well.

This was amazingly clever, though. Though what makes you think ghosts lose their memory with age?

I don't really know. I remember reading it somewhere that when a ghost sticks around for a certain reason, they start to forget other things.
