Thanks! Something a little more light hearted than usual for me but they both work so ~shrugs~ who am I to argue.

First one -- nice, shows James' arrogance but also his attraction to Lily.

Second one -- I think it would be two people from different houses, so they would grasp at times they could be together since they can't hang out in their common rooms. In my little mind: Andromeda/Ted or maybe Hermione/Draco.

Thanks, that was the intent behind the first one.

As for the second, when I wrote it, I was imagining that it was the morning after their first time together and that they weren't prepared to deal with their friends ragging them yet (having just gone through this myself, I thorougly understand their reluctance to shout it out to the world just yet). Therefore, it wouldn't matter which houses the couple was in...
