I love it, especially the description of Hermione's outfit (I almost get the feeling that Harry and Ron have been handing her things and making sure she's staying dressed and fed). I also love the the fact that we don't know quite what Ron tried -- simply cutting from "Beautiful" to "Ow!" is great.

I thought it would be fun to leave it to the reader's imagination...And something about Hermione wearing Harry and Ron's clothes just makes me all warm inside :) I have a feeling they center her, and keep her from frittering away under the pressure of all these books...they're also really comforting objects - socks and a sweater...I think, an effort to keep her relaxed as well as warm and fed...i can definitely see them forcing her to eat, as well. (Wait! Five more minutes!) :)

Thank you! :) I'm glad to hear you say that...I like reading canon-esque fics, and usually try to write that way...every once in a while though, it's fun to see something happen that's VERY fanon, would never "Really" happen in a million years, but sheds some new light on the charcters...
