I suggest we place our plan on hold until this is resolved. Is Hinamori-san all right? If there is anything I can do, please do let me know. She is a close friend, although she's become estranged from everyone of late.

Sure thing; I'm gonna be without a lieutenant for a while, looks like, so until I can get this mountain of paperwork under control I should prolly keep extracurricular activities to a minimum, as it were.

Hinamori's...not hurt, but that's about all I can attest to. She's havin' a rough time. I think she'll be okay though. She ain't as fragile as people think she is. If there's any way you can help I'll be sure to let'cha know.

If you require any help with getting the paperwork up to date, please refer some of it to the Eighth Division, Captain Abarai. We never seem to be as busy as everyone else.

I could try and speak with her later, if you think it would be helpful. We've known each other for a long time, and... it might be beneficial to have a friend without, shall we say, personal stakes in the matter?

I do apologise. Rumour circulates, and we were all eventually informed of the visit yesterday.

Well I'll try and handle things myself...however if you don't hear anything from me for more than 36 hours you might want to send someone to dig me out from beneath my desk. We'll see what happens.

And...there's nothin' to apologize for. I figured most of the captains and lieutenants were aware anyway--better to make a vague-ish formal statement than pretend it didn't happen, am I right? *sigh* I'm no good at this PR crap. In any case, I'm leaving her in Hitsugaya-taichou's capable hands for the moment. She'll bounce back before long, I think, and when that happens she'll prolly be more likely to want to see you than me in any case, so...if she starts askin' I'll let you know.
