Yay writing meme! Stolen from shamelessly
mizzy2k and already it's dropkicked my lazy self into writing my long suffering O&A multi-chapter which I now predict, will be updated by the end of the week :D Well done meme!
So it goes like this:
Each Sunday, post six sentences from a writing project -- published, submitted, in progress, for your cat --

The first one is actually part of a WIP that I have been neglecting for a veery long time, that this meme forced me some of, thank god. If you want to read it is here if you are actually interested in reading it. (not that you have to, just that you could, if you wanted). It's been kicking my behind, but then I wrote some last night and I feel like I've finally broken through the problems I was having, which is awesome, so yay :)
I AM GLAD YOU SUCKERED ME INTO THE MEME AS WELL :D And I'm glad you don't hate the way I write, that's a definite relief :)

Yes, I was wondering during that whisky talk, too.. but I figured the child was too young for him to groom properly. Ah well.
*sighs happily* He really is. And he's lovely.
Mmm! Apparently Sarah Shahi wasn't happy with the level of creative input, so she might not have wanted to continue even if the show hadn't been cancelled. But I just loved the two of them. And Lewis puts on a decent Am E accent.

Yeah, lazy. Also, when you say groom like that it just sounds wrong, even though I know what we're talking about and that Jake is totally not like it, it still sounds really not right. But it's really not the most canon-accurate story, even from the beginning, but I never really thought anyone was gonna read it, it was just for me because I love them so much and wanted to get it out there, it never crossed my mind that there were still people reading E/G fic, expoecially not in the multitudes that there are.
By the way, have you read any of lowriseflare's Eli/Grace fic? It is beautiful and brilliant and Eli/Grace the way I wish I could write it but never could.
Those two together were just excellent. And yeah, Damian Lewis, I love him, will always love him because a) he was Dick Winters, and b) he's just really compelling in everything he does. He's done a pilot for something called Homeland which if I'm honest, sounds an awful lot like Life, just in a more terror-y setting. But I liked Life, and I love him, ( ... )
