I'll admit, the subject sounds kind of emo. It's more literal than that, though. Last night, I tried to play something on my iPod, but it wasn't having it. A little frustrated, I went to sleep, and had a look at it properly in the morning. Turns out that every single song on there had become corrupt and unreadable. Nice. I realised that the iPod, iTunes, Quicktime and thus Apple itself are all terribly shit. My next MP3 player isn't going to be an iPod. Unless the new ones have gapless playback!

No, I really don't like the iPod either. I didn't check my sister's iPod video to see if it had gapless playback, actually. There are a lot of other issues besides that, though, like skipping to the next track if it's unable to read the one you selected within about 5 seconds, the occasional crashing, and so on. Frankly, it's just not good enough!
