I have decided against going. It's too much money. We have two holidays booked and we would rather use the money for holiday spends.

I love Madonna too but I wouldn't pay over the odds to see her.

The gig I am going too this Friday = £6. Much better. :D

I want that Idlewild album. And I am addicted to Sam's Town at the moment. Really got into it after a few listens.

Gen still really wants to go so i think we may still try to get tickets.

£6 for a gig....I can't remember the last time I paid £6 for a gig. I'd say the average price of tickets I pay for these days is about £30!

Definitely get the Idlewild album, it's excellent :-)

We are only going to see Shiny Toy Guns. They aren't famous but I like what I have heard so far. But it's something to do on a Friday night. :D

Any luck with tickets? I decided that I would get one ticket for myself (Dan isn't a fan and said not to waste money on a ticket for him) but I had no luck at all. I got through on Ticketmaster after half an hour but could only get a shit view £45 ticket. I didn't bother booking it.

Aw Tanya, you should have texted us or summat. i would have tried to get 3!

I managed to get two but it was the most trouble I've ever had getting tickets for anything!

Ticketmaster gave me a 12 minute waiting time so I went through See Tickets and managed to get two in block L9 on the lower tier which is a little further away than I wanted but i guess the fan club and those with a better internet connection got the ones closer.

Keep trying on Ticketmaster, you never know. If you're just after one ticket you may get lucky and get one close up

Tanya....don't give up. I just searched on Ticketmaster again for one ticket best available and it came up with one in block L7 which would be a brilliant view....damn, I wish i had a way of contacting you quicker than this.
